History The business was established in 1989 by Mr Chris Brett as a sole trader. Phil Ward was employed as an apprentice butcher by Chris and then became a joint owner with him in 2000 when they moved to a limited Company. Chris and Phil ran the business jointly until 2010 when A&B Catering Butchers became part of The Tom Hixson Group .
